Alison began her professional journey in Toronto, Canada, where she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts Honors degree in Photography and Design from York University. Following her graduation, she started her career as a Freelance Photo Assistant, collaborating with prominent Commercial Photographers in Toronto's corporate sector. This experience eventually led to her co-ownership of a photo studio specializing in Advertising and Editorial work, with notable clients such as LCBO’s Food & Drink Magazine and Kraft Foods.

In early 2013, Alison embarked on a one-month vacation to Costa Rica but quickly became captivated by the charm of Nosara, leading to an extended stay in the vibrant community. It was there that her talent for architectural photography blossomed, garnering recognition in prestigious publications such as The Wall Street Journal: Mansion, Elle Décor, and Airbnb magazines.

Through her extensive collaborations with clients, architects, and local builders, Alison's appreciation for architecture, décor, and real estate deepened significantly over the years. In 2018, she joined the esteemed team of the Sotheby’s Wanderlust Group as their first female realtor. Leveraging her comprehensive understanding of Nosara's development, she continues to inspire others to achieve their investment goals in the region. Clients choose to work with Alison for her unique blend of professionalism, integrity, and profound understanding of the real estate market, ensuring that their investment objectives are not only met but surpassed.
