Sweet Sunshine in Cariari
This villa sits on the highest point possible in all of Atenas with virtually 360 degree views.
This means it has spectacular views of the sunrise coming out from behind the Turrialba volcano (yes that´s right, direct view of Turrialba volcano from Atenas!) and sunset views over the Gulf of Nicoya. Impressive. There is one neighbor lower on the hill, but other than that it´s a private road leading to the house, with no other neighbors. Moreoever, being the highest private home in Atenas, the temperatures are cooler and there is more of a breeze than in the town. A coffee plantation behind the house means beautiful and free hiking opportunities year-round, and the property itself includes fruit trees such as lemons, limes, oranges, tangerines, mango, banana, figs, and even avocado!
The home includes a beautifully landscaped garden, an infinity pool jutting out from the house and spilling out a spectacular view of the Central Valley which is impressive during the day and comes to glittery life at night with the city´s sparkle which can be taken in either from the heated pool or heated jacuzzi.
The master bedroom with en-suite bathroom and walk-in closet are on the ground floor, allowing easy access to all social areas and kitchen, office, and the various covered terraces. Upstairs there are two secondary bedrooms each with en-suite bathrooms and closets, and each with its own private, large balcony.
Appliances are stainless steel, there is a home-theatre sound system (also for the outside terraces), presets for AC (honestly not necessary), a reserve water tank, and American-style oversized pantry and service areas for comfortable space for chores.
There is a “casita” for guests, or a rental income opportunity, of almost 60m2.
